Let’s take a common sense example approach for clarity. There are billions of web sites out there. However, let’s suppose there are only 11 pet supplies stores and they all sell dog food. These 11 stores are all represented by the same search engine optimization firm. In most search engines the first page of natural or organic results contains 10 sites and if you are the 11th site you will not be on the first page. Who will the SEO firm guarantee the top spots in the search engine and how would you feel if you were number 11? Merriam-Webster online dictionary define the term "client' as, "one that is under the protection of another" and the term "partner" as, "one that is united or associated with another in a sphere of common interest". We define a client-partner as a small business or non-profit organization, that meets "our requirements", that requires a long term solution for an internet. Without delving to deeply into the meet "our requirements" let me say as a general guideline; we WILL NOT accept organizations that are of an adult nature, that are abusive to others, or those that associate with the previously mentioned. We want Paramount By Design to be views as an honest, loyal, and dependable organization that others can turn to for solutions. - How will my target market find my site?
There are a number of ways for your target market to find your site and the ways are dynamically changing every day. The lists starts "back in the day" with only domain names, then search engines and directories, next listings and how to post articles to rank higher in search engines, next social networking and blogs, even today with the rapid expansion of mobile technology and who know in 2009 what will be the trend moving forward. At pBD we learn your business model and goals and develop a marketing strategy that will meet or exceed your goals Common techniques include: having your web site address on all hard copy materials such as your brochures, newsletters, business cards, business letterhead, magazines, etc...; then signatures on all e-mails, article postings, etc... and the list goes on. However, the key for someone to find your site could be in other creative methods, which w would not disclose here. - What kind of time-frame will it take to get my site listed with search engines and have my business advertised?
With multiple search engines available, time frames differ for inclusion. Also, most search engines do not automatically include every site and again the time frames for inclusions do vary. The procedure most search engines follow today is opting for sites that are coded correctly to acceptable standards with meta tags that are specified, and contain relative content. In other words, “search engine friendly sites” will generally receive inclusion. There are options for paid inclusion in many of the search engine site as well and these may be a viable option depending on the organizations time/cash goals. pBD submits our client-partners to any or all search engines as part of our service. If the client-partner wishes to have a quicker inclusion, Paramount By Design wills gladly discus that option as well. We provide our client-partners with an input on a cost benefit analysis with this type of services and we will NEVER charge for information or input that may benefit our client-partners.
- How do we optimize our site for the users or visitors
This question depends directly to the goals of the organization. pBD researches the goals of each of our client-partners and then we suggest the optimal coding and implementation of the web site. For example, if our client-partner’s goal is for the user to read a quick instruction page and then take an action; we would code the first page to load extremely fast, (compressed image and graphic files), with other sequential action pages written with AJAX. Web Sites of this nature sometimes require multiple applications to function correctly and in turn this could prove to be cumbersome where users have to wait for the separate applications to refresh. Techniques with AJAX can decrease the users delay with a streamlined appearance and lowered bandwidth. This is just one example on up to date technology with an application based solution for our client-partners. Paramount By Design assures all of their client-partner’s site will function properly with their business rules, with end-user ease of navigation in mind, and coded correctly for ease of alteration as their needs change.
- Can I change my mind after the project has started: ad functionality or features
Simply put, yes. We all have unforeseen needs or may have overlooked details. We treat these as a "fly in the ointment" or an oportunity, and are flexible with our client-partners. Just as the needs or purposes change over time, they can change during development as well. We address all changes in a timely manner.
